National Pollinator Week celebrations at Duke Gardens, which I project managed, included interpretive displays as well as thematic programming, tours and giveaways.

The design of these permanent 24×36-inch signs is intentionally simple to amplify the case for donor support and compliment rather than detract from the beautiful surroundings of the Gardens.

I designed the initial layout for the Piedmont Prairie interpretative signs, which served as a template for future design iterations.

I am currently working with the Interpretation Committee to develop a comprehensive strategic interpretive plan. To date, I have helped draft an initial style guide, refined protocols for implementing interpretive projects and created a database of current signage throughout Duke Gardens.
